Double Breasted Wool Olga...
We are loving Etsy seller Reddoll. You can definitely see the Russian influence in Ukranian-born designer Tatyana's clothes. This wool coat ($495), which is custom made-to-order is our personal fave. Just what I need, another coat, right?!

You know we love coats here in the Posh Kit, so we were stoked this morning to find an email alerting us to a sale on outerwear at J. Crew. Through tomorrow, exclusively online, select women's coats and jackets are discounted up to 30%. Hurray!

Merona® Women's Long Wool...
Don't you love when you walk in to Target to grab one thing and end up coming out with a bunch of fabulous stuff you didn't know you needed. That happened to me on Friday when I discovered this toggle coat. The fabric is this great soft, nubby wool blend, the colors are bright, and the quality is fab for a $60 coat. Now if only it wasn't 80° out here!

double-face scallop coat
It's no secret I'm a sucker for a good coat. Knowing that, it's no wonder I fell for this green (love the color!) scallop coat from Tulle ($112), available at Fred Flare. With adorable button detailing and a fun zipper front (and we know exposed zippers are on trend for fall), it would make a fun and fabulous addition to your wardrobe this season.

If you’d rather go naked than wear fur, here’s something you can do to avoid being caught wearing the Emperor’s new clothes—try faux on fo’ size! Cozy and cruelty-free coats and vests are everywhere right now and they’ll have you on the receiving end of big bear hugs all day long.

Our tips: Look for vintage styles your grandmother would have worn in the ‘40s. Avoid zip-ups and fur/knit combos. Don’t go all Cruella de Vil on us—stay away from floor length styles, they’ll swallow you up. Also steer clear of colored and bright prints—keep it neutral and keep it natural. Pair faux fur with form fitting bottoms, like skinny jeans or leggings, to avoid looking too bulky. Indulge, but beware—people will pet you.

Be fashion faux-ward with these 50 picks for winter.
